This one-day tour will introduce you to the natural and historical treasures of Armenia. The itinerary includes: Lake Sevan - we will visit the "pearl of Armenia"—one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world. You will have time to enjoy the stunning views, breathe the fresh air, and take magnificent photos. Noratus - you will visit the world's largest field of khachkars (cross-stones)—a unique open-air museum. It features around a thousand Armenian cross-stones, the oldest of which date back to the 9th century. Hayravank Monastery - we will visit a picturesque and secluded 9th-century monastery located on the rocky shore of Lake Sevan, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the lake.

The trip to Sevan from Yerevan is a full-day journey. The tour lasts approximately 7-8 hours, which is enough time to explore all the planned sites without rushing. The total round-trip distance by car from Yerevan is about 200 km (approx. 125 miles).

The price for a private tour to Sevan starts from 40,000 AMD and depends on the selected vehicle (sedan, SUV, minivan). The price includes: transfer from any point in Yerevan and back, a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver, bottled water, short photo stops at scenic locations. Not included: meals and guide services (available upon request for an additional fee). Please note: Entrance to the Noratus site and Hayravank Monastery is free, so there are no additional ticket costs on this route. Yes, absolutely! Lunch on the shores of Lake Sevan is a key gastronomic part of the experience. We will stop at one of our trusted restaurants where you can taste freshly caught Sevan fish (ishkhan or sig) and other dishes of Armenian cuisine. Our driver will help you choose the best spot according to your preferences and budget.

Yes, swimming in Lake Sevan is possible during the warm season. The beach season typically lasts from late June to late August when the water warms up to a comfortable temperature. If you are traveling during this time, we can set aside time for a relaxing break at one of the beaches. Just remember to bring your swimwear and towels with you.

Noratus is a historic village famous for its ancient cemetery, which contains the largest surviving collection of Armenian khachkars (cross-stones) in the world. It is a true open-air museum where you can trace the evolution of khachkar art over a thousand years. Each stone has its own unique pattern and story.

The weather at Lake Sevan is very changeable and almost always cooler and windier than in Yerevan. We highly recommend bringing a warm sweater, windbreaker, or jacket, even on a summer day. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are suitable for walking around Noratus and the monastery.

Absolutely! This tour is perfect for a family outing. The itinerary does not involve difficult hikes. Children will love the vast lake, the open space for playing on the shore, and the amazing stories behind the ancient cross-stones. We can always adjust the pace of the trip to be comfortable for our youngest travelers.

We specialize in private tours across Armenia. This means the entire trip will be organized exclusively for you and your party. You won't be dependent on other tourists, can enjoy the itinerary at your own pace, and will receive the full attention of your driver.
